In this essay, based on2001-2011annual report of National Social Security Fundboard of directors, with the latest data disclosed from National Social Security FundCouncil website, combined with investment status of National Social Security Fund, andcompared with the growth of of gross domestic product controlment, all of above approvedthat its investment income can not fully share the fruits of economic development, and alsocan not cope with of rapid growth of aging population and pension payments. There is along way for National Social Security Fund to achieve the goal of preserving andincreasing the value.The limits on investment of National Social Security Fund have enabled its security,while at the cost of investment flexibility and considerable gains. Over time, fund’svalue-added purpose can not be achieved, and the volatility of investment yield curveobviously proves that the safety of fund also can not rely on investment restrictions toguarantee. As the investment diversification has become the unstoppable trend, this essayanalyze its feasibility from multiple angles including combination of the investmentperiod, investment vehicles, investment region, and strive to provide some ideas for theNational Social Security Fund investment diversification.From multiple angles of the operation of National Social Security Fund, this essayanalyzes the existing problems among National Social Security Fund Investment, andmature experience from foreign pension reserve fund, by the former investment strategyand performance to explore more effective investment strategy of National Social SecurityFund.
