HT information company is considered to be among the companies with the greatestpotential in software industry and they have, after rapid development of more than tenyears, developed into large-scale software companies integrating research and developmentof products, production, channels and services. Being technological innovation-oriented,they develop their core competence as they build up their good reputation. However, withthe changing demand from the market and constant development of software technology,the company faces good opportunities for development on one hand, and challenges fromall aspects on the other, and the latter have affected the quick and stable growth ofcompany. Now, the company is in a critical period of development. It has become anurgent problem that how to keep stable, continued and long-term development, and how toset up the development strategy of company in a scientific way.The thesis is trying to provide some suggestions on the solution of problemsencountered by HT information companies, and it raises the problems, contents and thestudy method, aiming to keep the company under a sustainable development. Firstly, thethesis uses PEST tool and Michael Porter’s five-force model to make detailed analysis oncompany’s external environment and industrial competitive situation respectively, and sortand gather the data of this industry under sub-items to make comparative analysis on thedevelopment situation of software industry, and select the typical competitors of theindustry to make contrastive analysis, thus clarifying the opportunities and threats facingthe company; secondly, make analysis on the internal resource and capacity of HTinformation companies, reviewing the strengths and weaknesses of company fordevelopment; thirdly, on the basis of internal and exterior circumstance analysis, draw upthe strategy scheme, use SWOT matrix analysis to decide the four-sided strategy ofcompany, use SPACE matrix to orientate the strategy, make strategic alignment analysisthrough QSPM matrix. The strategy of development suggested by the thesis is the one with diversification strategy as core and integration strategy as auxiliary. Finally, the thesisprovides strategic countermeasure and other suggestions on the organization, system,operation, products, channel, HR and brands of the company according to the strategicgoals of company.In the principle of reality, combination of theory and practice, the thesis posesimportant guiding significance on the long-term development of HT informationcompanies. It help the companies choose the proper development strategy in accordancewith their own superiorities, develop their strengths and avoid weaknesses in a complicatedenvironment, and strive for a stable and long-term development. Meanwhile, it alsopresents itself as a valuable document for other enterprises in this industry for reference.
