Since China entered the WTO, traditional ways of the corporation competition thatregards the product as the center cannot meet the development of the corporations. Thecompetition among corporations is reflected in overall strength and overall image. Facingthe fierce market competition, if one corporation forms the core competition and shapesthe corporate image before the public, it will make the public feel the power of thecorporation, thus the corporation will hold the market and succeed to the end.This paper expounds that on the one hand public–service advertisements serve forpublic common interests, providing gratuitous service for the public services and facilities,contributing to the whole society; On the other hand, public–service advertisements gaingood reputation for the corporation, promoting the corporate image effectively, leading tofavourable development of the corporation. So it has potential value return. Currentlymore and more corporations come to be aware that in market competition it is veryeffective to promote and build better corporation images by public-service advertisements,thus many corporations are willingly to finance such kind of advertisements.Unfortunately many corporations in Hebei fail to have a full and complete understandingof its significance, leading to the imperfect operation of Hebei public-serviceadvertisements. Through the study of such advertisements, we can strengthen thecognition and approval of the public-service advertisements, standardizing and guiding,even encouraging more and more corporations in Hebei to participate in public-serviceadvertisements, which are essential to the image competition among corporations. Thispaper also explains the misunderstanding and problems in operation of Hebeipublic-service advertisements. It brings forth approaches and tactics for the corporationsthrough targeting the below-standard operation in Hebei public-service advertisements.Meanwhile it steers the corporation to have positive development in investing intopublic-service advertisements, enabling the corporations to promote their corporationimages by taking part in public–service course, gaining both corporation profits as well associal benefits.
