| It is generally believed that there is a good supply of fresh water. But to ourdisappointment, the fact is just the opposite where island far away from the land or onthe marine engineering platform. Because of pollution and non-renewable by usingtraditional fossil energy in seawater desalination, it is an ideal choice to takeadvantage of luxuriant wind energy source. So it is quite meaningful to make aresearch on new type of floating desalination structure.The paper’s research is based on a forefront topic——floating offshore windpower desalination platform, and introduces marine environmental load theory offloating structure. The paper put forward the key factors of main dimensions design offloating structure and movement indicators of the system working properly bystudying the difference between floating desalination structure and floating windpower system.Firstly, I make frequency domain analysis and time domain analysis of forefronttopic floating desalination platform. The results show that one cylinder type platformis not available to floating desalination structure. According to the references, I focuson three-cylinder type platform instead of one cylinder type platform. Secondly, I get3best cases by comparing RAO of15cases three-cylinder type platform throughfrequency domain analysis. Then I analyze the3cases by time domain analysis andtake the best one in action. At last, I make a detailed design of new type of floatingdesalination structure, establish a finite element model for the frequency-domain andtime-domain analysis, and compare the lightship state, work state and full load stateof the structure.The result shows that new type of floating desalination structure movement canachieve the target of system working normally and satisfying the windmill in seaconditions1and2.But there will be an exceptional phenomena of heaven in seacondition3, and the system should be stopped in sea condition3. The probability offloating desalination structure working time throughout the year is84.97%by theannual wave statistics probability. There will be enough working-time. It ismeaningful in design of floating desalination structure in the future by the main scaleof new structure design and motion response calculation method. |
