Vertical Seismic Profiling (VSP) is a method which excited near the surface, lied along the geophones according to depth of borehole to meet the seismic exploration observation. Compared with the surface seismic observations, VSP data acquisition, with a high signal-to-noise ratio, high resolution, wave kinematics and dynamics characteristics, is being increasingly widely used in the world seismic exploration industry. The development of domestic VSP related equipment is quite slow, mainly relying on imports. Most of the instruments, used for deep oil and gas field exploration, generally large in size, high consumption in power, difficulty in inefficiency in exploration which are not suitable for directly applied to the shallow VSP exploration and engineering seismic exploration. To successfully develop our own intellectual property three-component geophones digital micro-VSP software and hardware systems which are high-performance, low-powering and integrated scalable is great significant.This thesis is based on the Ethernet-RS485bus communication network, using modern electronic design technology and network communication technology. Together with software design method which is object-oriented programming, it designs and develops a three-component digital micro-VSP software and hardware systems, mainly to solve the following problems:(1) Based on the three-component high-precision MEMS acceleration transducer, to design and implement scalable and tailored digital three-component micro-VSP underground geophones (probe) and data acquisition station;(2) based on Ethernet-RS485bus network communication model, to develop the Universal Serial network protocol (USNP) stack which running on the RS485network and to transplant simplified TCP/IP protocol stack-UIP and to build VSP seismic data transmission network;(3)to implement Dynamic network configuration protocol (DNCP) hardware design as well as the communication protocol;(4) based on Ethernet multi-threading to design VSP data acquisition and control system;(5) based on the model-item-view structure to display and process the large-scale seismic data visualization;(6) based on the OpenGL graphics library to develop three-component digital geophone attitude estimation and display system; Through separated research and breakthroughs to major functional modules and key issues, completing the VSP observing system digitalization, intelligent, minimization, low-power consumption, eventually developed integrated seismic data acquisition system of a set of integrated high-precision, scalable and cutting three-component digital micro-VSP geophones and network data acquisition station. The practical application shows that the system can provide real-time information of geophones for VSP exploration attitude, select the most favorable source locations and percussion, and correct three-component seismic data which can greatly improve the quality of VSP data collection, with a friendly interface, easy operation, simple construction, quality control ability, and high efficiency exploration. Compared to conventional VSP equipment, it has variety of performance advantages which can be effectively applied to shallow VSP exploration and engineering seismic exploration, owning important application value and market prospects.
