| Traditionally researchers assume that human activities are randomly distributed in time andthus well approximated by Poisson processes, but since2005, Albert Barabasi found thathuman activity patterns follows non-Poisson statistics, and they proposed two universal classexponents, with empirical evidence that emails, web browsing and library visitation displayraises a new perspectiveto look upon human actions and arouses research prosperity in human dynamics.Based on the research findings, Here we analysis the peer production behaviors in Androidopen source community, from the production and communication aspects and thesocialization in the roles of these people. Then, according to the reality situation, we putforward three expand the model based on Barabasi priority queue model, and the simulationresults are agree with the Android open source community behaviors. We conclude that (1) inter-event time of production and communication activities insocializationsocial capital accumulation;(3) the basic model expanded with more practical assumptions isagree with the empirical results. These findings broaden the empirical field of human dynamics and provides anotherevidence for Barabasi priority queue model, also expend the basic model in more practicalsituation. They can have a important implications not only for our quantitative understandingof human activity patterns, but also for peer production and business value. |
