The field of land resources is one of the earlier application of remote sensingtechnology and the formation of scale application of industry in our country. Satelliteremote sensing technology with its rapid, objective, macroscopic advantages, hasbecome an indispensable technique in land resources survey, monitoring andevaluation, China has basically established with the remote sensing technology forremote sensing monitoring system to support the modernization of land resources.ZY-102C satellite,launched in Dec.22th,2011, is China’s first high-resolutionoperational remote sensing satellite. It is very significant to taking full advantage ofthe high-resolution data received by02C satellite and to develop its potential valuableinformation, and to propose the use of the02C satellite data in image pre-processing,thematic information extraction. The work could promote domestic resources satelliteapplications in the field of land resources survey and monitoring, and also completeChina’s land resources remote sensing application system, and finally improve thelocalization of remote sensing data usage in field of land resourcesAccording to the characteristics of02C data, high resolution, panchromatic andmultispectral data, this paper carried out studying on data quality assessment, imagepre-processing technology, application evaluation of land use remote sensingclassification. The major works and achievements are as follows:(1) Data quality assessment: Using several images of ZY-102C satellite data,this part assess the quality from the internal geometric accuracy, band registrationaccuracy, signal-to-noise ratio, data coverage ability, mapping scale, land use typeinterpreting ability, followed by the conclusion of data quality. The results show thatthe geometric distortion of02C data is relatively large, the HR data can meet thescale of1:25,000mapping accuracy requirements.(2) Image pre-processing technology research: Object to make large regional remote sensing ortho-rectified image using02C data, including highresolution(2.36m), panchromatic(5m), multispectral(10m), technical comparisons aredone in the method of geometric correction, image registration. A large number ofexperimental results show that the matching geometric rectification of thin platespline model based on the high accuracy.(3) Evaluation of application of remote sensing classification of land use: can beevaluated translation ability of02C data to identify solutions map, spectralseparability, texture separability and comprehensive factors, from the smallestseparability, compared and analyzed with SPOT5, IKONOS data, experiments showthat the02C multispectral data typically recognition accuracy, can basically meet theneeds of land use classification of remote sensing application requirements.Based on system researches of the data quality evaluation of02C satellite,research of image pre-processing technology, and application evaluation of land useremote sensing classification, objectively evaluate the data quality of02C, andpropose a feasible method of image pre-processing technology, comprehensivelyanalysis of land use remote sensing classification application accuracy. The researchresults can be provide technical reference for land use remote sensing monitoringbased on02c data, and fully tap the foundation of the application of02C satellite.
