Mine geological records are records of direct observations and a consolidation of minegeological information systems with texts and charts compiled from the most basic methodsof work in coal mine geological prospecting and geological scientific research. Primitive andbackward traditional techniques can not meet the production needs based on its lowerefficiency. A lot of mine geological records only focus on the form of complicated and trivialcatalog content. Ignore the accumulated first-hand information. When the geological reallychanges, it can not be timely and accurate analysis to ascertain the structural phenomena, thusdelaying the production, the geological work in a passive being and so on.The purpose of mining geology is solving geological problems of the mine productionperiod to ensure that the mine construction and production at high speed, is reasonabledevelopment and utilization of coal resources. The mine geological work must adhere to theprinciple of field observations and comprehensive analysis of both practical information mustbe accurate and complete, forecasting data must be well-founded, and in practice, constantlytesting, finishing and perfecting.This research project is about a coal mine geological image catalog system based on GIS,SQL Server2000and relational database technology, using the programming environment ofVisual Studio2010C#program design language.The basis of geological exploration andunderground tunnel measurement data is carried out building a database, editing andmanagement calculated. Based on VRMineActiveX plug-in platform, the form of templatesautomatically generate drill hole logs and the tunnel sketch.Using modern undergroundexplosion-proof photographic technology to obtain the original geological image data,through editing and processing we can view the entire image. The target image as intuitivegeological information compiled recorded to the auto-generated graphics files.The systemalso provides basic graphics functions and including edit, layers management, scale, ranging,texts, symbols marked with drilling and tunneling and so on. Finally organizing and managing the images and graphics data of drill and tunnel through the method of documents resourcemanagement.
