With the high-speed development of computer technology and measurementautomation technology,3D laser scanning technology in domestic applications areincreasingly popular. Because of3D laser scanning technology with non-contact, highprecision, high efficiency, automatic measurement technology advantages in manyaspects, this technology has been widely applied in various fields, is a science andtechnology and information industry’s technological innovation once again. But thedomestic research on3D laser scanning data processing is relatively lagging behind,how to build a three-dimensional model of high precision, urgently needs a kind ofautomation, reliable, fast point cloud data processing method, in order to meet therequirements of high precision data quality, also many scholars research hot spot.Point cloud data preprocessing is one of the key steps in the process of dataprocessing, point cloud data filtering is the key and hot issues data preprocessingphase, so on the surface of3D laser scanning point cloud data filtering, formed thesystem of the ground three-dimensional laser scanning point cloud data filteringtheory is very necessary.This article mainly elaborated the3D laser scanning technology and pointcloud data filtering theory research present situation and development at home andabroad, according to the rules of the arrangement of point cloud data to itsclassification, filtering methods commonly used for different types of point cloud datais carried on the brief introduction, this paper uses B-spline wavelet filteringalgorithm of point cloud data filtering processing, and introduces in detail the relevanttheories of wavelet analysis and wavelet filtering. Using the Geomagic Studiosoftware built-in filter tool to filter to the same set of point cloud data processing, andcompared with former a filtering method, the test result analysis of B-spline waveletfiltering method achieved good filtering effect, can effectively remove the noise of thepoint cloud data, and effectively maintain the topography.
