Pressure cylinder is of great importance in the research of Deep-sea workequipments, and it provides the working conditions, to be more precisely, theprerequisite for the research of Deep-sea work equipments as the environment ofDeep-sea work. Because the working depth varies, to keep the real-time control of thepressure of the inner part of the pressure cylinder is required. This paper undertookthe research and development concerning on the Pressure Control System of thepressure cylinder.For a start, by analyzing and comparing two pressure control ways of changingthe mass and volume of liquid, combining with the small volume of pressure cylinder,the study chose the latter to fulfill the precise real-time control of pressure in the innerpart of the pressure cylinder accordingly.Afterwards, this study finished the selection and devise of the compressionelement, the key component of Pressure control system. The compression element islinked with the pressure cylinder by tubes, by controlling the rotation of the servomotor, it makes the screw of the ball screw rotates and the nut drives the piston rod tomoving forwards, consequently, the pressure control system provides high pressurewater to the pressure cylinder. The pressure control of the pressure cylinder is fulfilledvia the control of the servo motor.In addition, based on the simulation research, the study structured the hardwarearchitecture of the pressure control system and matched appropriate transducers.Simultaneously, by applying Visual C++6.0in Windows Operation System, wedeveloped the software of the control system and designed visual interface at the sametime, which has integrated functions and simplicity of operator.Finally, this study debugged both the hardware and software of the pressure control system. Experimental result suggested that the precision of pressure controlreaches the prospect as well as the dynamic characteristics.
