The Rural Comprehensive Land Suitability Assessment Based On GIS

Comprehensive improvement of rural land is animportant measure to protect the red line of Chinese cultivated land,improve the quality of cultivated land, and to increase the intensive useof rural construction land. Since Land Management Law put forward theland consolidation in1999, land consolidation project has beengradually carried out in the country. And after ten years of explorationand research, great progress has been achieved in this project.Since the implementation of the comprehensive improvement ofrural land, academia has actively conducted researches in theory andpractice which relates to the subject. This provides scientific theoryreferences and validation methods for promoting the comprehensiveimprovement of rural land.This paper focuses on adaptability of the comprehensiveimprovement of rural land, and further discusses methods to establishindex system of suitability assessment of the comprehensiveimprovement of rural land. The first part goes to the understanding ofrelative theoretical basis through summarizing the current results ofadaptive research on the comprehensive improvement of the rural land athome and abroad; Secondly, according to the relevant factors affectingadaptability evaluation of the comprehensive improvement of rural land,screen evaluation indicators and establish corresponding evaluationindex system; Thirdly, this paper comes to the establishment of indexweights based on the Delphi method according to the top five of thestudy area (area of terracing flat, grid field finishing area, farmlandwater conservancy remediation area, finishing area of rural roads, andsettlements finishing area). And this paper tries to establish the modelof suitability evaluation of the comprehensive improvement of rural land,and to determine the appropriate type of comprehensive management of rural land.
