Integrated Assessment Of Rural Habitat Suitability And Its Application

In the year 2008,promoting comprehensive consolidation of rural land vigorously in the future had been proposed by CPC Central Committee and State Council. And it was a realistic choice for stimulating rural investment and consumption demand and promoting economic development stably and rapidly.It was also a effective way to ease the employment pressure of migrant workers and the contradiction of land supply and demand and ensure requirements of land use for economic development at the same time.Therefore,it was important to promote comprehensive consolidation of rural land which can adjustment structure and layout of rural land use and promote economic development and change resource use fundamentally.The article took five villages of Jinniu,Zhengfu,Yangyuan,Danqiao and Longjing in Longxiang Street in Tongxiang City as examples.It comprehensively evaluated the conditions of the rural residential construction by RS and GIS.It refers to some maps including the second national land survey in Tongxiang City in 2008 and some materials about the population and social economy.During the study,the indicator approach was adopted to evaluate the comprehensive village land suitability.Ten indicators were selected after investigation which can refluence the comprehensive village land suitability to show the status trend of the evaluated objects.Then gave each index corresponding points and weighted coefficient by mutual correction of Delphi and the technique of arranging indicators in comparison.Of course,the choice by the indicator approach was liable to be affected by evaluators (experts) subjectively,resulting in different evaluation results about the same object by different evaluators.In order to solve this problem,the factors were analyaed and evaluated comprehensively by AHP and the weight distribution was checked consistently to make the calculation more close to the objective analysis requirements by using the quantitative method.The evaluation scores of comprehensive village land suitability were obtained by the evaluation of single fact and comprehensive superposition of many factors.The scores were divided into five grades by Hierarchical Clustering.providing reference for the present rural residential consolidation.According to the results,the author list two different village consolidation plans.First, the areas with the evaluation results of "very good"could be construct based on the original as reservation. The areas with "good"and "general" could conbine or be merged with the villages around. The areas with "bad"and "very bad"should move gradually.Second,took one or several areas with the highest evaluation results of every village as reservation.And the other areas of every village could be demolished.The author studied the comprehensive village land suitability of five villages in Longxiang Street in Tongxiang City in order to establish an operable and comprehensive evaluation method of the comprehensive village land suitability,which was used as a premise of making decisions scientifically and comprehensive consolidation of rural land.
