A large number of gold deposits and mines were found between Hudun of Zhenghe area andDongyou of Jian’ou area. It is very important to summary the metallogenic regularity andprospecting direction of gold deposits for Gold ore prospecting in the future between Hudun ofZhenghe area and Dongyou of Jian’ou area.In the study area, gold deposits mainly occur in the fault zone and its secondary structuralfracture zone, partly in the interlayer fracture zone, slip zone or unconformity, which iscontrolled by Zhehe―Dapu deep fault zone, Sandu’ao―Guanqian fault zone and Fulin―Yongtai fault zone. The Yanshanian especially Late Yanshanian is the region’s main goldmineralization period.In the study area, the shap and occurrence of gold ore body are obviously controlled byfracture structure, generally showing shap of vein, lens, net veined and branch, and theoccurrence of orebody is basically same with the occurrence of fault fracture zone. Ore types aremainly the quartz sulfide type, secondly the tectonic altered rock type. The boundary linebetween ore body and wall rock is distinct and alteration zone of uneven width and intensityoften exist near the gold ore veins. Sulfides like pyrite, galena, sphalerite and chalcopyrite arefrequently associated in mineralized quartz veins, showing a close relationship with golddeposits. Orebodies strike extend20-200meters,trend extend25-150meters deep and thicknessare generally1-3meters, Often appearing swollen and the maximum reaching41.11meters. Thewallrock of orebodies often occur strong silicification, forming Silicified rock or silicifiedbreccia and establishing a combination of Hydrothermal alteration of low and mediumtemperature. Genetic types of gold deposits (mines) are mainly low‐medium temperaturehydrothermal filling type, sencondly Hydrothermal reworked type.Gold deposits have not been evenly distributed in space, mainly controlled by NE, NW, NStrending faults and their secondary faults, and the main metallogenic period is Late Yanshan. Inaddition, Hydrothermal reworked type deposits are the products of evolution of multi-period andmulti-stage.Based on regional geological background, ore-controlling conditions and metallogenicregularity, five prospecting areas have been divided, like Wangmushan―Tieshan prospectingarea, Dongji―Shangshangang prospecting area, Dayuan―Wangcuo prospecting area, Yetian―Galin prospecting area and Junzhukeng―Huangtan prospecting area.
