The winter of2010to the early spring of2011, China’s north China, the huanghuaiand jianghuai, jianghan, precipitation less serious, the parts of a wide range ofmeteorological drought in Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, Henan, Anhui, Hubei, Shaanxi andother places.Wheat will gradually into the green period after the "spring", the water demandwill be increased significantly, as the spring after the rise of temperature, the fieldevaporation capacity is big, the drought may rapidly develop, to the detriment of thewheat root growth and tillering.According to current situation of the drought, on February18,2011, the ministryof land and resources command, and Heilongjiang province work in baoding city, hebeiprovince to carry out the drought resistance and water well drilling. In baoding city YiXian xiling town of stone home series village held the launch ceremony that system ofland and resources in support of hebei arid region for water well drilling operations.Among them, This article describes three technical methods to find water, and use thesemethods in Baoding six counties(Tang County, Quyang, Laishui, Fuping, Shunpei,Mancheng) in drought water wells tasks that you need to complete60deep wells.This paper describes the basic principles, methods and techniques that use of audioearth electric field method, induced polarization sounding method, groundwaterconductivity imaging technology to find groudwater. And analysis the specific processof electrical exploration wells to find water through five specific instances, namely:through geophysical field work to obtain parameter data, after inversion, interpretation,draw audio telluric field curve parameters induced polarization curves, EH-4Figure apparent resistivity inversion results, combined with geological data collected andhydrogeological data as well as information on previous work, comprehensive analysis,research, delineation of optimum water breakage and aquifer position to determine wells,designed to provide the basis for the drilling.As of April1,2011, Geophysical prospecting method is used to set a total of70Wells, Completed59eyes emergency Wells and10eyes prospecting hole, total footageof9329meters, suppling rate of86.7%, The60villages in arid,59village water supplingsuccess.This work got the recognition and awards from Heilongjiang ProvincialDepartment of Land and Natural Resources, showing the integrated geophysicaltechniques to find water in water-scarce areas of engineering technology, and itprovides theoretical and technical support to find water for the country’s droughtPractice shows that the baoding area drought water action has achieved goodresults, especially the conductivity imaging technology is straight for ward to see thereaction of the underground within a kilometre of stratum and tectonic situation, Workefficiency and the effect is better than other methods, and the economic cost is low.All the data for the drought-resistant project for the future similar explorationproject implementation has played a very good reference and guidance.
