In the field of elastodynamics, the problems of SH-wave scattering caused by a circularcavity and multiple cracks in different spaces near the bimaterials interface, are studied in thispaper with the methods of Green’s Function, complex function and multi-polar coordinates.Several Green’s functions are given in this paper. By using these Green’s functions, theproblems of SH-wave scattering caused by half-space circular cavity and multiple cracks inthe other half-space near the bimaterials interface are investigated respectively. The work is asfollows:Establish the crack in half-space. The crack is established by using the method ofcrack-division: load reverse stresses where the crack will appear, when tangential stresses andreverse stresses are equal, the crack can be made out. Based on the mentioned method, morecracks can be established. Thus expressions of displacement and stress are established whilemultiple cracks are in existent. The scattering of SH-wave, which is caused by half-space circular cavity and multiplecracks in the other half-space near the bimaterials interface, is investigated. Divide thebimaterials media into two parts, one section is a half space with a circular cavity, the othersection is a half space with multiple cracks. Load undetermined forces on the horizontalsurfaces of the two sections to satisfy the boundary conditions. Set up the integral equations tosolve for undetermined forces. Under the impact of the force, we can express thedisplacement field and stress field in different spaces.Numerical examples such as diverse material parameters, different sizes and regions ofcircular cavity and multiple cracks are given to research on the influence of dynamic stressconcentration factor(DSCF) and dynamic stress intensity factor(DSIF).
