ABSTRACT:Sudden geological disaster emergency investigation information system can achieve automatic evaluation of geological hazards, early warning and forecasting, emergency command and assessment statistics. It can improve the prevention and control work of geological disasters and make the work scientific and informationalized by improving the ability of fast, efficiently and professional management. The system provides technical support platform for sudden geological disaster emergency investigation and management system, realizes scientific statistic, analysis and assessment for geological disaster, integrates the geological professional data and daily operation work scientifically.The paper thoroughly studies the design and development of sudden geological disaster emergency survey information system. The results of this research are as following:1. To carry out detailed investigation and analysis for the functions of sudden geological disaster information system so that providing reference for the development of other geological disasters.2. For a massive number of remote sensing data, Mosaic Dataset is used to organize these data by the way of "file+database" to store and manage. This way gives full play to the advantages of the system and database system storage, whose biggest advantage is to have the advanced grid query function and real-time processing function; besides, it can be used as a source of image services. Through the method, the dynamic mosaic of massive remote sensing data and fast index are realized.3. When processing the massive data, ArcGIS Geoprocessing is utilized, which can realize the DLG data transformation, projection transformation and remote sensing data storage by modeling the batch process, at the same time, the method can save manpower and time.4. With the basic geological disaster investigation requirement that the disaster information should be real-time, accurate and complete, the system of geological disaster investigation is established by combined the C/S mode with ArcGIS Server, which the system is provided with the geological disaster information analysis, emergency survey and disaster assessment. It improves the limitations of pure C/S mode and B/S mode, thus, the advanced function could be developed and implemented.5. To realize the dynamic cutting, drawing and projection of map tiles by utilizing ArcGIS Engine so that promoting the execution efficiency of map tile cutting and making it easy to update, access and splice tiles. It provides a new approach to display2D/3D map.6. Using ArcGIS Engine GlobeControl widget, the subsequently background of geological disaster, spatial distribution of geological disaster information are developed at the mode of three-dimension terrain model, and the three-dimension terrain model intuitive display, interactive query of subsequently background information and geological disaster information are realized.
