Nowadays, nanomaterial have been widely used in life sciences research, quantum dots is no exception, there are many articles manifest that quantum dots are excellent fluorescent substances in biological experiments, but these arguments only remain in the experimental stage, for the specific optical field distribution of quantum dots, as well as the quantitative description of optical energy is still get less attention. With the finite element method, this article carries out the numerical simulation of the distribution characteristics of quantum dot fluorescence field, select spherical quantum dots of different materials for electromagnetic scattering analysis, discusses the law of distribution of quantum dots fluorescence field. After that, I have been simulated the optical field distribution in the process of quantum dots fluorescence resonance energy transformation. The analysis of the quantum dots electromagnetic scattered field is conducive to understand different quantum dot fluorescence resonance energy transfer process more meticulously; it is feasible to ascertain the specific location of quantum dot fluorescence field which cannot be obtained from the ordinary experimental. This research has important theoretical significance for the control of the optical field distribution of the quantum dots, and improves the efficiency of quantum dot fluorescence.
