Corrugated sandwich plate are widely used in aviation, aerospace and shipbuilding andother engineering field because of its qualitative light, high strength, easy to forming and lowmanufacturing cost, especially good energy absorption and impact resistance advantages.General corrugated sandwich plate consists of two layers and light high strength corecomponent. In recent years, corrugated sandwich plate caught many people’s attention. Thiskind of structures have light weight and high strength which is easy to manufacture, can notonly reduce occupy space, effectively reduce the vibration and noise, but also enhancethermal insulation. The corrugated sandwich plates have good impact resistance performanceand energy absorption characteristics. This structure has been used in the aviation aircraft,ship floor and cabin, offshore, cars, trains and buildings, etc widely application.In this paper, in view of their structural characteristics the corrugated sandwich plate andstructure are researched through the test and numerical simulation method. The compressionand impact and energy absorption characteristics of corrugated sandwich plate and structureare developed. Based on the failure modes, the influence of structural parameters on thecompression and its impact energy absorption characteristics are discussed, which should beconsidered in engineering design.the research content is as follows:1. Introduce the basic equation of corrugated sandwich plate, the theoretical inferenceand test method of equivalent mechanical parameters of corrugated sandwich plate in detail.The impact basic theory and modes study are summarized.2. Static compression test of corrugated sandwich plate was conducted, provided the loaddisplacement relationship, failure mode and energy absorption characteristics of corrugatedsandwich plate under the static compression load. Based on the static test, we developed thenumerical simulation research of different structure parameters corrugated sandwich plate inquasi static state. We studied the failure mode varying pattern and energy absorptioncharacteristics of different structure parameters corrugated sandwich plate under compressionload. According to the static test, we found that, in the compression process, face ofcorrugated plate variation of stresses is small, which just delivered the compression load tothe core, which play an important role as the main load bearing parts. This paper mainlydiscusses the influence of corrugated core height, wavelength and thickness of the structure under compression load.3. Based on the spring–mass impact model, the failure response of the corrugatedsandwich plate in different impact energy was analysis. The deformation failure and loadbearing ability of corrugated sandwich plate were studied in different impact energy. Basedon the impact test, numerical simulation was conducted. The influence of corrugatedsandwich plate top face thickness corrugated core height and core wavelength on thedeformation and energy absorption were discussed in different impact energy.4. We design the floating floor corrugated sandwich structure by synthesis corrugatedsandwich plate. Developed the shock load test research, discusses influence of differentimpact speed and different pulse width on the response of floating floor structure underimpact load, which provided reference to the practical engineering application andengineering design of corrugated sandwich structures.
