With the imbalance between supply and demand of resource and energy becoming acute, prospecting in deep earth for resources is the major research fields. Described as "the telescope extends to the interior of earth" and "the key to the underground world", drilling engineering is the most direct and useful way for human to get the information from the inner earth. Drilling is a systems engineering, which is difficult, high-risk, concealed. Its object is the Earth which is almost completely unknown. Therefore, in order to drilling effectively, detection and supervisory control of the drilling parameters is very important, and that is why the intelligent drilling parameters instrument is known as "the eyes of the drilling engineering".To meet the requirements of drilling geological scientific research and scientific drilling research, China University of Geosciences developed a series of intelligent Drilling Parameters Instrument (DPI) which combined with SinoProbe-05. The thesis "Research on Marketization Butt and Key Technology for Intelligent Drilling Parameters Instrument" is derived from the project, its purpose to service in scientific drilling, at the same time, to expand broad-spectrum, multi-function, intelligent, multi-process, marketization of DPI.In this paper, DPI consists of hardware and software two aspects. The hardware includes the sensors to detect rotating speed, drilling rate, bit press, the remanent distance of drilling rig, pump pressure, pump volume, hook load, host current, and a variety of other major parameters, industrial control computer PC, the data acquisition card, wireless transmission modules and other data acquisition and processing equipment and instruments cabinet, etc. Software includes LABVIEW-based programming software to write a test application software, serial debugging assistant, Keil, PLC.The DPI system is mainly composed of sensor modules, data acquisition card modules, industrial computer PC modules, wireless transmission and receiver modules, network communication modules, short and remote-range monitoring modules, meter and instrument chassis modules, virtual instrument LabVIEW software platform. The main function of the system includes:(1)Accurate measure of bit pressure, speed, pump pressure, pump volume, host, electric current, and drilling rate of key drilling parameters.(2) Real-time display of the depth of the hole, back, and so on.(3) Digital display meter, the LabVIEW software platform, industrial PC highlighted drilling parameters in real time.(4)Measure the remanent distance of drilling rig or rotary drilling rig directly.(5)Judge the position of the hook in case it crashes into the crown block and calculate the racking platform position for easier put on and put off the hoisting swivel elevator.(6) Auto alarm for parameters overrun of the hook.(7) Auto save, playback and analysis of data.(8) Input and modify parameters.(9) Automatic generation of electronic class report.(10) Short-range send and receive function by wireless.(11) Remote network monitoring function.The thesis integrated different interdisciplinary knowledge of theoretical mechanics, mechanics of materials, fluid mechanics, mechanical design, electronic circuit, detection technology, computer programming technology, virtual instrument, network communication technology, and design a series of DPI systems. The systems includes:(1) high precision acquisition of tens of road parameters.(2) design a wireless transmission sensor systems with functions of short-range and long-range wireless monitoring, control, sharing.(3) developed a set of hook load and hook height monitoring system, which could realize the high precision detection the hook load, bit weight, hook position, remanent distance of drilling rig. It can judge the position of the hook in case it crashes into the crown block, calculate the racking platform position for easier put on and put off the hoisting swivel elevator.(4)Through virtual instrument LabVIEW software platform, it compiled a series of "Intelligent Drilling Parameters Instrument System" software.(5) Examine and analysis the DPI system, to solve the difficult problems, demotion maintenance costs and to meet the different needs of the market.The scientific drilling field test proved that DPI is simple to install, high precision, stable, practical, and can be widely used in rotary disk driller, spindle-type drill, all-hydraulic drill, such as supporting for XY-6, XY-8, XY-9, ZJ15different deep hole. The DPI could fit different needs of customers for low-level configuration like only the header display, or high-level configuration, such as data acquisition, curves display, data analysis, data storage intelligent, and productive and market-oriented.
