As a non-renewable resource, oil plays an important role in the national economicdevelopment and the international situation. In order to make full use of the limited oil energyand minimize the loss of mining, sustainable exploitation has become the current trend inworld’s oil production.Considering that the actual needs in thin reservoir exploration of China’s major oil ifelds,in this paper, a research of the dual induction logging system has been conducted. In detail, this research is on the basis of the basic theory of the induction logging and combined with thedevelopment of high-resolution induction logging system. The main contents include the basictheory of induction logging and coil system, the system underground circuit, signal processingsystems and indoor debugging technology research. Different from the traditional inductionlogging tools using analog circuit logging signal phase sensitive detector, high-resolution dualinduction logging system adopts state-of-the-art digital chips as down-hole processing core. Itutilize the digital phase-sensitive detector to separate the real from an imaginary part of thewell logging signals, which greatly reduces the volume of the instrument while improving theaccuracy of the data processing. In addition, the down-hole timing control system uses theFPGA as the master chip to ensure that the instrument loop work orderly. In this study, wecomplete the debug task of the digital phase-sensitive detector and make an analysis of theproblems we encountered in this process. Experimental results show that the indicators of thehigh-resolution dual induction logging system have reached all the designed requirements.Furthermore, the success of underground circuit debugging also laid a solid foundation ofterrestrial signal processing and instrument scale in the future.
