As a non-renewable resource, land has relatively stable spatial location.With the fast process of urbanization and rural population moving to cities, some of new districts, state-level economic and technological development zones and free trade areas come into being.This leads to the sharp increase in requirement for construction land.Non-construction land reduces accordingly along with the urbanization.Many changes of land attributes appear such as land use type,land size, land ownership and so on.Among all those changes, the conversion of construction land to non-construction land is most obvious.Land use monitoring is kind of information that the ministry of land and resources authority must hold.Therefore, it is very necessary to introduce a set of stable, convenient,efficient and reliable land management information system.3S technology has lots of superiorities as it is fast,accurate, timely, big range and multi-scale and powerful abilities of collection,edit and process,analysis and management for spatial information.Based on3S technology,monitoring of land use not only can obtain the higher accuracy data quickly,but also finish updating database of use survey at county level on base of the second national land resource investigation (Hereinafter referred to as the "secondary research").Besides,it analyses conditions and characteristics of land use changes.On the background of "2013national survey of land use change monitoring and verification of remote sensing monitoring task ",this article summarizes the research background and significance of land use monitoring, expounds the contents and methods of the study.Taking JianYang city in Sichuan province as the research area and3S technology as technological means,with image of Ziyuan III satellite photoed at December,2013,with the materials of the secondary survey image and digital elevation model data as reproduction resources,this article produce a complete DOM with2m resolution.A large number of experiments have been completed to obtain various fusion images from different methods.After evaluating the quality of results, we choose the method for making DOM which is the best fit to Ziyuan III satellite.According to related standards and industry rules;we extract information of construction land change based on artificial interpretation methods.Using field annotation to verificate and correct those changes,finally realizes updating spatial and attribute information database for research area.We contrast databases within two years to get incremental data packets,with which changing situation of relevant data in 2013is obtained.Data analyzed include types,scales and areas of new construction land and reduced cultivated land,garden land,forest land.Except that new figure spot on the space distribution characteristics is also analyzed.Experiments show that,as the representative of the data sources of domestic resources satellite,technology of DOM production for Ziyuan III resource satellite is reliable.It has played an important role in monitoring of land use,at the same time guarantee monitoring effect needed in the study area.3S technology insure updating current database of land use for county. So it has the significant reference values in land monitoring and status update for national land systems and relevant departments...
