The thesis focuses on the fauna of Spilomelinae from the Southwest of China. The literature review section outlines the economic significance and the research situation of taxonomic and fauna. The descriptions of species section includes230species in74genera of Spilomelinae, which are classified according to the specimens and a lot of literatures. The last section analyzes fauna from the composition, characteristics and similarity.1. SpeciesA total of230species in74genera of Spilomelinae are recorded from the southwest of China. Among them,152species in65genera are records or described according to observed specimen. It is concluded5newly recorded genera (Ategumia Amsel, Leucinodes Guenee, Lygropia Lederer, Rhimphalea Lederer, Ulopeza Zeller) and33newly recorded species to the southwest of China,1endemic genus and27endemic species to China,34species are redescribed due to the lack of the total data records. The genitalia of8female are recorded firstly from China and their images are given.Keys to the genera and species are offered. The literature citations and geographical distribution of each genus and species are provided. Figures of the species which newly recorded from the southwestern China, unrecorded female genitalia and redescribed species are provided.2. FaunaStatistical analysis and summary the genera and species distribution from the perspective of zoogeographical division of world and China. And the similarity coefficient in Southwest-China, Central-China, South-China Regions and6provinces from the southwest of China are worked out by the specialized formulations. The distribution from the perspective of zoogeographical division of China and the geographical distribution tables are provided. The result indicates that74genera of Spilomelinae shows20distribution patterns in Zoogeographical region of the world.73genera accounting for98.65%are cross-border distribution, 17genera accounting for22.97%are widely distributed on the world,1species accounting for1.35%are endemic to Oriental regions. Spilomelinae from the Southwest of China is mainly consist of Oriental composition, and contact with other regions in descending is Palaearctic, Australian, African, Neotropical and Nearctic regions. And it shows16distribution patterns in zoogeographical region of China.72genera accounting for97.30%are cross-border distribution. Accounting for21.62%distribution in Southwest-China, Central-China and South-China Regions,16.22%in Southwest-China, Central-China, South-China and North-China,12.16%in Central-China and South-China Regions. And contact with other regions in descending is North-China, Qinghai-Tibet, Northeast-China and Mongol-Xinjiang regions. The result indicates that230species of Spilomelinae shows16distribution patterns in Zoogeographical region of the world.173species accounting for75.22%are cross-border distribution,107species accounting for46.52%are distributed in Palaearctic and Oriental regions,3species accounting for1.30%are widely distribute on world. Spilomelinae from the Southwest of China is mainly consist of Oriental-Palaearctic composition, and contact with other regions of descending is Palaearctic, Australian, African, Nearctic and Neotropical regions. And it shows32distribution patterns in zoogeographical region of China.207species accounting for90.00%are cross-border distribution. Accounting for18.70%distribution in Southwest-China, Central-China and South-China Regions,15.22%in Central-China and South-China Regions,13.48%in Southwest-China, Central-China, South-China and North-China.4species accounting for1.74%are widely distributed in China. And contact with other regions of descending is North-China, Northeast-China, Qinghai-Tibetand Mongol-Xinjiang regions. The result also indicates that species of Spilomelinae from the Southwest of China widely distribute in China. In conclusion, species of Spilomelinae from the Southwest of China are trans-regional distribution and mainly consist of Oriental composition. It is speculated that Oriental regions is the species differentiated center of Spilomelinae. The similarity analysis result indicates that the two bivariate analysis coefficient of Southwest-China, Central-China and South-China regions up to0.5which are significant similarity, and the analysis coefficient of three regions are0.729which also reach to significant similarity. It indicates that Spilomelinae from the Southwest of China distibute widely and uniformly. From the perspective of the provinces, no province has significant similarity except for between Chongqing and Sichuan which similarity coefficient is0.635.
