It is inevitable that issues about seepage occur during the period of construction of underground engineering especially rock mass excavation. As the existence of joints in rock mass is stochastic and uncertain, water inflow during excavation gets lots of difficulties in forecast, which making a big threat in construction engineering. At home and abroad, both predicting flow rate of groundwater and varied seepage field of underground cavern during excavation are key problems of the geotechnical engineering.Based on the construction of large scale underground water-sealed oil storage cave in Huangdao, this paper considered the seepage of random factors and the seismic random loads on the damaging effects of underground caverns. Using the numerical method, this paper made some discussion on the seepage field distribution of underground water-sealed oil storeroom and inflow forecasts, and combined the seepage with earthquake loads, then made an analysis of the stability of underground caverns. The main contents are as follows:(1) Analyzing the numerical method for solving the seepage of rock mass permeability coefficient, and summarizing the classification parameter models and random model types, propose a simulation method about the rock mass transfusion random field.(2) Using the FLAC3D numerical calculation software, and considering the stochastic characteristic of permeability coefficient caused by randomness of jointed rock, with the theory of random field theory and taking into account anisotropy of space, get the more accurate and reasonable underground seepage inflow prediction value.(3) According to the condition about the previous research on the stability of underground cavern only focusing on single factor, on the basis of previous research, combining the seepage with earthquake loads, make an analysis of the stability of underground caverns with the effects of various external random loads.
