The physical and chemical properties of biodiesel is close to petrochemical diesel, and biodiesel is a kind of renewable energy sources which have some advantages like biodegradable, clean, environmental friendly and safety, which make it to be the newly bestowed favor on the energy research at21st century. Microalgae oil is one of the promising raw material for the production of biodiesel, and microalgae has much advantage such as it is easy to cultivate, it have high photosynthetic efficiency, its biological cycle is short and its fatty acid content is much higher than other oil plants and so on, this advantages make the research of microalgae oil as the hot point in the biodiesel researches. This paper focused on the screening chlorella vugaris and takes it as the research object, in order to search best culture and product oil conditions of chlorella vugaris for get great biomass and high lipid production quickly. We studied the effects of three carbon sources, i.e. glucose, NaHC03and sodium acetate, we have also studied the effects of their respective initial concentrations on the growth and lipid properties of Chlorella vugaris at different light intensities. After analysis the experimental results and get the following conclusions:(1) In the three carbon resources, glucose has a significant role in promoting the growth of chlorella vugaris; low levels concentration of NaHCO3can accelerate the growth of chlorella vugaris, high levels concentration of NaHCO3inhibit the growth of chlorella vugaris; sodium acetate can restrain the growth of chlorella vugaris, especially under the polycultrue conditions, it will accelerate the death of algae cell.(2) In the three light intensities, the growth rate of algae cell was increasing as the light intensity increased. And1600lx proves to be much more beneficial for the lipid accumulation of Chlorella vulgaris than the other two, and the facilitation of light intensity on the lipid content was16001x>50001x>01x.(3) In the all culture conditions, the best condition for the growth and lipid production was:50001x light intensity,15g/L of glucose as plus carbon sources, in this conditions it can get the peak biomass of3.17g/L and the biggest lipid production of1.025g/L.(4) Combined with the specific growth rate and lipid content, it could reach the more economical conditions for growth and lipid production of chlorella vugaris:50001x light intensity,5g/L of glucose as plus carbon sources, got2.793g/L of biomass and1.012g/L as the biggest lipid production.
