The importance of coal as an industrial energy demand is increasing. However,because of mine operations are not standardized, prevention efforts are not in place, allkinds of coal mine accidents occurred frequently. Coal mine accidents not only threat tothe safety of miners, but also lose more state property.The topics aim to change the currentsituation of lagging Coal Mine Safety Monitoring Technology and solve the problems ofCoal Mine Safety Monitoring. Use the advantage of Zigbee-based wireless sensor networkmonitoring in the coal mine safety production. Break through the traditional routemonitoring technology and effective in preventing accidents. Provide scientific and reliablemonitoring data for Coal Mine Safety Monitoring.The main contents of the article:1. A wireless and low-power sensor nodes for environmental monitoring in coal mineswhich based on ZigBee technology is introduced in this paper, it is designed andimplemented by using TI CC2530chip. It transmits data wirelessly and has dual powersupply mode. Because of the energy-saving design, the node can run more than20hoursunder battery power. The multi-sensor in one node can capture a variety of environmentaldata, including the mine temperature, humidity and gas concentration, and environmentalparameters control operation of the fan.2. Analysis the existing underground mine positioning system, propose animprovement location algorithm based on the average time RSSI of triangle centroid. Thealgorithm establish a high probability of RSSI occurrence area, then select the best RSSImeasurements to arithmetic average. Experiments show that the improved locationalgorithm can maximum remove noise elimination and random errors, which caneffectively improve the positioning accuracy.3. According to the actual mine environment, developed a client monitoring software,which can manage the personnel nodes, and have the feature of dynamic receiver, real-timedisplay, alarm processing and positioning miners.The WSN technology has been used in the design of coal mine safety monitoringsystem, The wireless transmission of data has been achieved in coal mine, making up forthe deficiencies in existing coal mine monitoring systems, it is a practical and innovative,and new field are opened up for the application of WSN.
