Error compensation technique is an important application technology, which is effective to improve the measurement accuracy of the instrument. Based on previous studies, this dissertation mainly studied the error modeling and the actual application for the JA100Gear Measurement Center, by using non-real-time error compensation technique. The main content of this dissertation is as follows:Generally analyze and understand the composition of JA100Gear Measuring Center’s mechanism system error terms. Firstly establish the space Cartesian coordinate system of each moving rigid-body in the structure of this type of measurement center, then establish the volumetric error model involved mechanism system errors, based on the theory of rigid-body motion, by using mathematical methods of translation and rotation of the coordinate system.1. After understand the method and principle of the involute-cylindrical gears measurement used this measurement center, the main errors that affected measurement accuracy could be determined, by analyzing the influence on measurement of the tooth profile deviation and lead deviation and pitch deviation, caused by the Ax deviation, Ay deviation, Az deviation of the probe in the the Machine Coordinate System. Accordingly, the error model could be specifically simplified, and get the new error model met single measurement accuracy.2. Mechanism system errors could be measured by using Dual-frequency laser interferometer and other measuring instruments, then the error data measured also should be made corresponding processing, and as the error compensation’s original data finally. In order to get the spatial errors of the arbitrary position by calculating, the original data should be processed by using cubic spline interpolation, and established the function relationship between the mechanism system errors and the corresponding coordinate values.3. The correctness and validity of the spatial error compensation model should be proved through specific experimental, which include single-axis positioning compensation effect validation, the plane linear positioning compensation effect validation and space linear positioning compensation effect validation. In addition, the correctness and validity of the simplified error compensation model should be verified by measuring errors of the standard involute master of gear and compensating. The main conclusion of this dissertation is as follows:1. Error compensation model established based on the theory of rigid-body motion is feasible and effective for the JA100Gear Measurement Center to implement non-real-time error compensation. After error compensation, the volumetric positioning accuracy has been improved obviously.2. The single error model simplified is feasible and effective for the error result of the standard involute master of gear measurement to implement non-real-time error compensation. After error compensation, the tooth profile total deviation Fα has been improved from2.90μm to2.68μm. The tooth lead total deviation Fβ has been improved from4.4μm to1.5μm.
