The world crude oil processing industry development is facing the following problems:Firstly, the nature of the crude oil is increasingly inferior and heavy. Secondly, the market of light fuel oil is expanding. Thirdly environmental protection laws and regulations are more and more strict. So the process of heavy oil to light oil is more important. It directly reflects the economic benefit of refinery.This paper firstly analyzed the factors that affect the yields of light oil in the process of crude oil. The API°of crude oil has a direct influence on the yields of light oil in atmospheric and vacuum unit. selecting a suitable reaction temperature, catalyst activity and catalyst to oil ratio, can improve the yield of light oil in catalytic cracking unit. Delayed coking technology,with less investment and adapting to a wide range of raw materials, is the effected means to balance the vacuum residue. Reducing the operating pressure and circulation ratio of Delayed coking unit will decrease the coke yield, maximum output of coking light oil, while the maximum production of coker gas oil as raw materials for catalytic cracking unit. Hydrocracking and FCC feed hydrotreating technology can make the light oil yield improving greatly. Contrasting Residual hydrotreating and VGO hydrotreating, the former can receive more light oil yield, but with the problems of high investment and high operation cost.Combined with the units structure of Luoyang branch,this paper point out to optimize the units structure, to increase the proportion of crude oil second processing units, and enhance the adaptability to crude oil resources. The content of the specific implementation include:new construction of a delayed coking unit, to solve the problem of vacuum residue processing and new construction of the VGO hydrotreating unit to improve the feed properties of FCCU to improve the light oil yield.With the implementation of deep vacumn technology, the vacuum tower high efficiency and low pressure drop packings were used. The efficient vacuum system of German GEA company was used.Also the vacuum furnace temperature, low temperature, low pressure drop a series of pressure relief means.This paper uses Sinopec " reference light oil yields and comprehensive commodity ratio " calculation software to calculate, according to the unit revamp concluded: firstly, contrast the delayed coking process route and the original solvent deasphalting route, the light oil yield rised about2%。Secondly, the VGO hydrogenation routes improved the FCC feed properties and improved the yield of light oil by2%. Thirdly, the deep vacuum technology can improve the yields of crude oil cut and broaden the FCCU feed then improve the light oil yields.
