Nowadays,due to the booming need of light oil and to the deterioration of crude oil,technology of converting heavy petroleum into light fractions is increasingly valued,which needs intensive and detailed characterization on heavy petroleum,especially on its residue.In this paper,true boiling point(TBP)distillation,molecular distillation(MD)and other analysis methods are utilized to study deep-cut vacuum distillation on Daqing and Changqing vacuum residues(VR)and cracking reaction performance of various FCC feeds distillated from Daqing and Changqing crude oil,aiming to provide data on residue processing.Influence of MD operation conditions on deep-cut vacuum distillation of residues(500?+)distillated from Daqing and Changqing crude oil,which are both paraffin-based,is studied.Results show that feed speed and roller speed have obvious influence on light oil yield while feed temperature affects only a few.Slower feed speed and faster roller speed lead to a higher yield and wider boiling range.FBPs of Daqing and Changqing VGO distillated by MD reach up to 684.0? and 680.8? respectively,making yields 31.36% and 35.83% higher than traditional TBP distillation.TBP curve is extended.Effect of deep-cut vacuum distillation is obvious.Properties of Daqing deep-cut VGO and residual oil are better than Changqing,while both Daqing and Changqing crude oil are paraffin-based.As cutting temperature grows,variation trend in properties of deep-cut VGO,such as density,carbon residue,viscosity,molecular weight,elemental content(Sulfur and Nitrogen),metal content and structural parameters,presents regularity.So is the residual oil under different cutting temperature by MD.Higher the cutting temperature,worse the quality.Cracking reaction performance of FCC feed distillated from Changqing and Daqing crude oil is investigated with FFB experimental facility and LVR-60 R catalyst.Results show that on same reaction condition,light oil yield and liquid yield of HVGO1(350-600?)and HVGO2(350-667?)are slightly lower than traditional VGO(350-500?),but obviously higher than AR and VR,showing good cracking reaction performance.Properties and cracking reaction performance of FCC feed distillated from Daqing crude oil are all better than Changqing crude oil.In this case,properties and reaction performance of distillated oil and residual oil obtained from crude oil on same base are quite different,so as the problems on its processing.Therefore,processing scheme should be selected after intensive study.
