With the rapid development of science and technology, the market demand forcasting products quality is increasing, the vacuum-assisted casting process have beenapplied more extensively. Vacuum system is the key factor of vacuum castingtechnology and its stability and reliability would affect the vacuum casting qualitydirectly.One of the key technologies for vacuum casting technology is how to pump air ofcavity in a very short time; another is how to close vacuum channel in time so as toavoid leaking liquid metal into vacuum system when vacuum finished. At present, theforeign products, which can pump air of cavity in a very short time and close thevacuum channel in time, occupy most of the vacuum system market, but both theirpurchase and maintenance cost much. Compared to the former, the domestic vacuumsystems is still in the stage of development and improvement, their reliability andmaintainability are low, the equipment characteristic and vacuum die castings qualityare not stable.The demand for vacuum die-casting technology in die-casting industry isincreasingly urgent, but it is subject to the existing technology and equipmentconditions, vacuum die-casting technology has not been widely applied. To solve thisbottleneck, the high dynamic responsive vacuum die-casting technology and systemwere studied in this paper and some results were obtained as follows:①According to the features of high-pressure casting process, the prototype ofhigh dynamic responsive vacuum die-casting technology has been proposed;②Combined with the principle of vacuum dynamics, the theoretical calculationsof high dynamic vacuum die-casting technology parameters have been done, andinfluence of the process parameters on the cavity vacuum degree have been analyzedto lay a foundation for the design of exhaust channel and selection vacuum elements;③On account of die-casting fast filling, to breakthrough bottleneck of vacuumshut-off technology and research the method of vacuum exhaust channel shut-off andits characteristics of dynamic response, the high-speed, reliable, easy to maintainvacuum shut-off equipment has been developed;④The vacuum control system suitable for the characteristics of high dynamic responsive vacuum die-casting technology has been developed on the basis of vacuumshut-off equipment.⑤Combination the process characteristics of die-casting production and highdynamic vacuum, the high dynamic responsive vacuum die-casting system has beendesigned. External hanging high dynamic vacuum system which can connect todie-casting machine control has been researched and developed. They establish theequipment foundation for industry to promote die-casting capability to realize vacuumdie-casting technology.
