This paper mainly summarizes the petroleum resources background, many yearsbefore the oil shale got the attention of each country, oil shale is becoming theresearch upsurge. And all of this process. Fushun mining Refco Group Ltdengineering technology researsh center of Fushun. Dry distillation technologyupgrading project research underlines its importance. Fushun Mining Group is theonly engaged in oil shale refining state-oned oversize enterprise. The shale refiningprocess in Fushun is the furnace as the main equipment of the Fushun dry distillationprocess, this process has its unique advantages, but also has such disadvantages. Forexample the oil recovery rate is not high, the equipment investment is larger, has somebad effect on the environment. This study uses indirect cooling process and improvesthe cooling effect obviously. The cooling water and the dry distillation gas haveindirect contact, recycling; the flow control between cooling water and dry distillationgas save the water resource. A new high efficient electric tar precipitator purificationof shale gas is proposed. The content of oil shale is controlled below1.0g/Nm3. It isuseful for the production operation. New technology of shale oil recovery rate is highthan the traditional technology by10.0%~15.0%, the research on the development andutilization of oil shale has important practical significance.
