The Panyi mine in Huainan city is located in the north of Huaihe River and thesouthern wing of the Panji anticline with complicated geological structure, which is aserious coal and gas outburst mine, and its east-west span is relatively large. Accordingto gas and geological data of the actual exploitation, they indicate that the different mineregion has differing gas geological regularity. Therefore, this dissertation combiningwith mine geological information, the actual production, gas data and tectonic coaldistribution characteristics, the mine is divided into different gas geological unit anddifferent characteristics in different gas geological unit are studied.Fully integrated with the former division of thought and considering the actualproduction requirements of the mine, this dissertation implementing a method with themain body of geological structure, the combination with the actual production, the coreof gas outburst and the purpose of gas control, the mine is divided into the western unit,central unit and the eastern unit with the limit of large faults F4and F5, then, and theorders of gas content and gas pressure in different gas geological unit are researched,the results show that the coal seam gas content increases with increasing depth from thebedrock surface,thus,indicating gas distribution law of each unit, when sutdying ongeological structure and geostress of different unit, finding big fault F4and F5controlling the coal mine and working faces small faults growth and seam glidingstructure and the tray sandstone isoline are studied based on structural force changing ofHuainan district,at last, tectonic coal distribution characteristics of13-1coal seam inPanyi coal mine of different unit are studied and the causes in petrology are reaserched.
