| With the development of the computer technology, finite element theory and computational fluid dynamics, wax injection machine mould filling process of numerical simulation technology has been rapid development, the simulation technology can be used in scientific research and production practice. The flow field analysis software FLUENT can be used for modeling and numerical simulation of wax injection machine mould filling process, we can gain flow field and temperature field distribution.The main content of the paper is as follows:(1)The present research state and development tendency of investment casting and wax injection machine at home and abroad have been introduced in detail, as well as the importance of analysing the filling process of the wax injection machine, the topic research content have been introduced in detail.(2)The theoretical basis of CFD analysis software, basic steps of flow field analysis is described, the mathematical model of the filling process is elaborated, including mass conservation equation, Energy conservation equation and Navier-Stokes equation, and numerical simulation method for the filling process of wax injection machine has been introduced in detail.(3)Using3D modeling software to make the solid model of filling mold, and using the flow field analysis software FLUENT to carry on the numerical analysis and computation of wax injection machine mould filling process, the inlet pressure curve and the volume fraction and temperature contours are obtained, through the comparative analysis of flow state for mold material at different inlet velocity, the best filling speed is determined, and the entrance pressure curve is obtained, the reliable theory basis is provided for the simulation of control system(4)For verifying the universality of FLUENT software in a wax injection machine filling process analysis, using FLUENT to carry on the theoretical research and numerical calculation for flow field and temperature field of the complex3D model, the inlet pressure curve, the volume fraction and temperature contours are obtained. |
