With the improvement of people’s life, the food safety in the whole society gets moreand more attention. Food testing agencies as part of the evaluation of food safety technicalinstitutions, is gradually expanding its face of the customer groups, the inspection businessfrom the original too dependent on government departments of the mandatory inspectiontask transition for government, enterprise, individual consumers in the face of various typesof customers personalized needs of food sample inspection. As the food inspection and theincreasingly fierce market competition, which requires the inspection agencies to improvetest efficiency, customer needs to the food inspection report (i.e., inspection agencyproducts) rapidly and accurately complete, customers realize the value-added services,improve customer satisfaction, to win customers to gain market competition advantage.The food inspection agency inspection work in the actual operation situation analysis,food inspection efficiency bottleneck restriction factors mainly inspection process usingrigid manufacturing mode, not in food inspection procedures for the introduction ofadvanced management concepts and industrial engineering methods, cannot adapt to thecurrent food inspection work in many varieties, small batch inspection demand. Throughthe analysis of a food inspection, food inspection process, put forward to solve the majorproblems caused by the process of preliminary implementation plan.Through the use of group technology(GT), testing of food items in each processgroup (Group), the testing process in the repetitive operations merged, optimal inspectionprocess, establishment of mixed mode, through the development of food inspectionstandards, inspection standards implementation work steps, can maximize the inspectionstaff enthusiasm, to ensure that the entire inspection process of compact, further promotethe optimal inspection cycle.According to the food inspection process of lopsided problem, from the programanalysis and the human-machine operation analysis two respects discussed production linebalance principle in the application of food inspection procedures, discussed the balancemanagement oft test schemes, the effective inspection management strategy, in order torealize the balance of the food inspection work to lay the foundation.This study will contribute to the food inspection institutions using group technologyand production line balance theory for food inspection work flow optimization and production balance improvements, provided by improving the food inspection efficiency ofthe methods of operation, expanding and improving test efficiency idea, using theoryknowledge to improvement and optimization of the operation to the food inspectionagency.
