With the constant development of our economy, in the pursuit of high yield, highquality objectives, our country also paid heavy price--unit energy consumption.Based on the above situation, energy saving and consumption reducing this problemhas become our country government must face up to the problem, in future work, it isnecessary to incorporate the governments daily work plan in. First, only the truemeaning of the realization of energy saving, to national economic development toprovide the inexhaustible motive force, it can alleviate the problem of lack ofresources. The second is to improve the environment, energy saving, pollution controlis the most effective way. Third, energy saving is to enhance the competitiveness ofenterprises, improve the economic efficiency of enterprises is an important method.Simulation analysis would be done against to the rectification process with themost common full low-pressure air units used in home country. The process is fullrectification low-pressure process adopted with molecular sieve adsorption,compressor turbo-expander, full rectification argon production without hydrogen andoxygen external compression. According to the author in air separation industry,doing a lot of data collection and application of experimental work, on the air coolingtower and molecular sieve absorber for improvement put forward their own views.According to the second theory of thermodynamics, by using the availableenergy analysis method, it can describe accurately the perfect extent on the unit’senergy use; and indicate the loss state of energy and the unit’s unreasonable links. Inthis paper, the stuff and the energy of air separation unit30000Nm3/h are calculatedcompletely and separately in balance mode, and the available energy has beenanalyzed. Thus the following results have been obtained.(1) Increase of frozen water, Reduce the resistance of air cooling tower.(2) Reduce the heating time, Increasing adsorption time in molecular sievePurification system, To increase the effective height of bed.(3) On the part of the pipe to conduct heat, reduce heat loss.Based on the results of the available energy analysis, the schemes of savingenergy reform and optimizing operation are suggested to reach the aim of saving theenergy and to raise the effective profit rate of the energy source.
