With the growth of the national economy, the years since SO2has become one ofthe most important atmospheric pollutants. The burning of fossil fuels is the mainsource of SO2, but also the impact of environmental issues important factors, the harmto the destruction of the ozone layer and lead to a variety of respiratory diseasesincluding oxidation and corrosion of the metal, causing a huge threat to property andphysical and mental health of the human. Therefore, the control of SO2emissions andthe use of an important issue.This paper first introduces the flue gas desulphurization technology at home andabroad, for the the alcohol amine desulfurization technology to do the highlights.Based on the report of the preparatory project is established, the desulphurizationmethod of glycerol-water system, this method SO2absorption spectroscopyexperiments and experimental vapor-liquid equilibrium (GLE) make research work.The specific content of the study include the following two part: under the conditionsof27℃,125.15kPa glycerol-water system to absorb SO2gas-liquid equilibriumdata for the study, based on the results of spectroscopic experiments, the glycerol-water system SO2absorption mechanism. The results prove that the glycerol-watersystem SO2absorption capacity, with the continuous increase in the system water, SO2absorption capacity is gradually increased.
