It is very important to vanadium extraction from vanadium-bearing hot metal forthe process of vanadium production. The effect of separation of vanadium and iron isclosely related with the vanadium oxidizing rate and the quality of vanadium slag andsemi-steel. The process of vanadium extraction a process of selective oxidation from hotmetal and vanadium slag. There are very close relationship between the componentactivity of vanadium-bearing hot metal and vanadium slag with chemical reactionequilibrium of metal-slag reaction. At present, there are a lot of reports for thecalculation of the melt thermodynamic activity, but the calculation forvanadium-bearing hot metal and vanadium slag thermodynamics of multicomponentsystem is less reported. It is very lack of thermodynamic data of vanadium-bearing hotmetal and vanadium slag. Therefore, It is necessary to study the thermodynamic activityof vanadium-bearing hot metal and vanadium slag. It’s provide important reference forthe experimental or Further study on physicochemical propertiesThe calculation results are in good agreement with the actual by using thecoexistence theory model to calculate the thermodynamic problems of melt and slagbinary system or multicomponent system. Therefore,to establish the mathematicalmodels of mass action concentration of coexistence theory of Fe-C-V ternary systemand Fe-C-V-Si-Mn-Ti six component system for vanadium-bearing hot metal andFeO-V2O3-SiO2ternary system and FeO-V2O3-SiO2-TiO2four component system forvanadium slag. Writing a program to solve the modle by using calculation software ofmatlab and to obtained the results of the component mass action concentration at1325℃,1350℃,1375℃,1400℃,1425℃.Writing a data post-processing program based on Matlab to draw the Graph aboutthe relations between mass action concentration and component content at thetemperature range of1325to1425℃. Study on the relationship between the mass actionconcentration of C, V or FeO, V2O3and component content, temperature. thecomponent mass action concentration increases with the increase of the componentcontent by itself and Related to other content. Temperature had little effect on the massaction concentration at the temperature range of1325to1425℃.This article carried out the experiments of blowing oxygen and smelting on Vextration from vanadium-bearing molten iron, which is made from vanadium titanium magnetite by the process of non-blast furnace. Preferential oxidation of Si,Mn,V whilethe oxidations of C and S are restricted owing to the temperture of smelting pool islower than1400℃. Meanwhile, the content of P keeps nearly constant. Determine theappropriate supply of oxygen are rang from18Nm3/t to25Nm3/t and the transformationtemperature of carbon and vanadium are rang from1360℃to1395℃of the end-point.Moreover, Calculated the transformation temperature of carbon and vanadium whichconsistent with the experimentally determined values by based on the coexistencetheory model...
