With the rapid growth of China social undertakings development and economicin recent years, environmental issues become increasingly prominent, more and moreacute contradiction among environment, social development and economic growth, and environmental issues in the metropolitan area is even more obvious. The soundquality of the environment as an important part of the quality of the urbanenvironment, making it the most attention, reports and complaints up toenvironmental elements. Therefore, studying the change characteristics of the typicalacoustic environmental quaility in urban areas, not only help to improve the soundquality of the environmental of the typical city, but also to promote coordinationbetween the region’s social, economic and environmental sustainable development.Noise pollution is a traditional environmental issues and sound pollutionprevention is also a mature technology disciplines, a lot of domestic and foreignexperts and scholars have done a lot of research and analysis on governance andprecention in noise. Therefore, the papers selected Beijing Fengtai District as p typicalurban study area, on the basis of comprehensive and systematic collection of thenatural environment of the study area, socio-economic development, soundenvironmental quality data and other related arrtibute data, for the selected study area, using ArcGIS analysis platform, from a systems perspective, using dusteranalysis, exponential smoothing, gray prediction method, comparative analysis of theacoustic environment of the study area quality characteristics, the soundenvironmental pollution characteristics, acoustic environment quality improvement, specific research and analysis. This research work focuses on the following aspects:First, conducted a comprehensive summary and analysis system on the selectedstudy area-west of Beijing in typical urban acoustic environmental qualitycharacteristics of sound pollution sources the traffic sound pollution status; based onArcGIS paltform for the study area acoustic environment spatial distributioncharacteristics were characterized.Second, analysis on the statistical classification of typical urban study area acoustic environmental quality, characteristics and control machanism; the paperthrough the use of duster analysis SPSS19.0software acoustic environmental qualitymonitoring data on the history of the study area, and supplementary data and relatedattribute data processing, the grid sample of the study area, the sound quality of theenvironment is divided into three categories, the combination of different types ofgrid spatial distribution characteristics of the corresponding class area acousticenvironmental quality impact is mainly controlled by factors extraction and analysis.Third, predicting and evaluating the typical urban study area acousticenvironmenta quality level. Typical urban studies regional environmental noisemonitoring network grid measured data base, using exponential smoothing methodand gray system theory and its model, the prediction and assessment of soundenvironmental trends within the study area and level; and further on the basis of twodifferent prediction methods in principle, the prediction accuracy of the predictedresults were compared with analysis.Fourth, summarized the main problems of the study area acoustic environment, and proposed some measures to improve the study area acoustic environment andsustainable development. In summary, scientific exploration and systematic studying the soundenvironment quality of typical urban area change, pollution characteristics, this has acertain significance for the study area acoustic environmental quality prediction, evalution and sustainable development of the formulation of measures; it also hasimportant reference value in supplying, promoting and evaluating of the theory andusing methods of acoustic environmental quality.
