The Heavy Trucks Cover Cab Welding Technology Research Based On Welding Robot

The main content of the thesis is based on the heavy truck cab welding production technology requirements, the metal top cover welding. Roof outer surface requirement after welding without indentation, and the contour of the workpiece and the volume is very large, so can not use ordinary welding methods, the traditional welding method because of the role of the workpiece electrode is on two surfaces of impression. This paper adopts a new resistance spot welding technology of robot, i.e. single double-sided welding technology. This new design of welding system can lower electrode pressure single contact, thereby realizing the outer surface of the seamless welding. This paper introduces the robot single sided welding robot workstation, principle, form layout and the selection of the main components, to the intermediate frequency welding control system principle of work and welding parameters are described, the welding fixture design and field test of welding process were studied. Through the above research, the system has solved the body assembly manual welding, welding close difference, quality demand is high and low production efficiency bottleneck problem.
