The transition metal ions of Co(II),Mn(II) and estertin groups have been introducedinto the skeletons of these polyoxoanions. All compounds have been characterized bysingle-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, TG analysis andelectrochemical analysis. Their electrocatalytic properties toward the reduction of hydrogenperoxide have been investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV).1. The sandwich-type polytungstobismuthate functionalized with etertin units has beendesigned and synthesized:Na6K4[{Sn(C3H4O2)}2{Sn(C3H4O2)(H2O)}2(B-β-BiW9O33)2]·21H2O (1)2. Two sandwich-type polytungstobismuthates functionalized with etertin and transitionmetals units have been designed and synthesized:Na8K2[{Co(H2O)3}2{Sn(C3H4O2)}2(B-β-BiW9O33)2]·25H2O (2)K10[{Mn(H2O)3}2{Sn(C3H4O2)}2(B-β-BiW9O33)2]·30H2O (3)3.
