Because of Thermosetting plastics’characteristics, it is widely used in the home appliances industry, automobile manufacturing, building materials, etc. A wide range of production and use of thermosetting plastic will produce a lot of waste thermosetting plastic products, And because thermosetting plastics has indissolvable and refractory stability characteristic,recycling is quite difficult, so the continuous accumulation of waste thermosetting plastic will give the society the enormous pressure on the environment, harm the ecological system, and cause the waste of resources. At present, the main methods of recycling are thermosetting plastics is used as a filler,or burned,or directly buried, and the recycling rate is very low. In order to effectively recycle waste thermosetting plastics, the world researchers constantly explore new recycling method.This paper discusses recycling method and application of waste thermosetting plastics based on mechanical and physical method. Research the regeneration mechanism based on mechanical and physical method,and establish technological process,at the same time, design recycling technologys and equipments of thermosetting plastics based on mechanical and physical method,recycling waste thermosetting plastic is realized.Proceed degradation experiment for waste polyurethane foam of refrigeration equipment and thermosetting phenolic resin, then have infrared analysis, scanning electron microscopy analysis, range analysis and variance analysis, so that prove waste thermosetting plastics will be degraded under the action of mechanical force,restore a reversible plastic capacity, and obtain the optimum process parameters of the degradation test.Carry on the compression molding test for waste laminated board of thermosetting phenolic resin, observe the apparent quality of the regeneration plates, then evaluate test process parameters. Proceed mechanical performance test for regeneration plates,that are mainly tensile strength test and bending strength test, then analysis degradation material proportion and size’s influence on the mechanical properties of regeneration plates, and have microstructure analysis for the end face and surface of regeneration plates and mix.In a word,waste thermosetting plastic can be degraded by mechanical and physical method, restore a reversible plastic capacity, be good for recycling. The regeneration plates have good mechanical properties and apparent quality after the compression molding, the main ingredient is the degradation of material. Recycling technologys of thermosetting plastics based on mechanical and physical method realizes recycling waste thermosetting plastic.
