Sweet potato is one of the major alimentary crops in China, was discovered to contain plentiful nutrients and lots of phamalogical activities for human health in recent researches and became very popular in the world. At present, the output of sweet potato is over100million in china. Along with the increasing number of sweet potato processing enterprises and the aggravating of environmental issue, the pollution of sweet potato starch wastewater have been the bottleneck of sweet potato enterprise and local economic sustainable development.Sweet potato starch wastewater which has higher COD value than other food-processing wastewater acidize easily. The study was carried out to the problem of unwieldiness of sweet potato starch wastewater. Based the processing workshop of sweet potato, we study the influencing factors that ABR treat the sweet potato wastewater in practice by conducting pilot scale test. Meanwhile, we achieved biofertilizer by the resource recycling of sweet potato starch wastewater and application of tea.The starting of ABR in normal temperature is feasible. The ABR had been running172d and going through the summer, autumn and winter. Along with the decrease of temperature, the removal efficiency of ABR descended. In the whole running process, the COD from10000mg/L to2000mg/L, the temperature from30℃to6℃, the removal efficiency of ABR descended from80.36%to53.52%. The pilot scale test indicated the temperature is major factor of affecting the ABR efficiency in actual running. The Bacillus amyloliquefaciens A3was continually cultured in shaked-flasks containing wastewater from sweet potato starch production. The effects of the various culture conditions such as pH, temperature and the rotate speed were investigated. The Bacillus amyloliquefaciens A3demonstrated a high biofertilizer production. It is showed that the best temperature is32.5℃, the most suitable pH value was7.5and the rotate speed was250rpm. The biomass of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens A3was8.67Γ—109CFU/mL.Sweet potato starch wastewater was treated by Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, the biomass can be used to product biofertilizer. The field experiment show that the Bacillus amyloliquefaciens biofertilizer, which was fermented using sweet potato starch wastewater (SPSW) as culture medium, improved yield and-tea quality significantly. In all fertilizer structures, the4%of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens biofertilizer achieved the best results. The biofertilizer treatment superlatively increased the yield by46.04%, the quantity of bud by41.72%, the100-bud weight by7.2%, water extracting materials by14.24%, amino acids content by20.67%, tea polyphenol content by18.68%, respectively. The results showed that Bacillus amyloliquefaciens has the potential to promote plant growth, can be used for production of biofertilizer.
