With the continuous improvement of living standards and the technology in the rapid development of textile and apparel industry,"Health Dress" has become an important new era of fashion consumption concept, the natural fibers has been respected by more and more people, such as cotton-based clothing. But there are also self-cotton fabrics, such as poor wrinkle resistance, strong water shrinkage, slow moisture releasability, among them, the slow release of the wet directly affect the cotton fabric comfort properties. At present, for improving the property of wet-absorb and fast-dry, mainly finishing methods is to put wet cotton fibers and cotton fiber blend, the different moisture conductivity property of yarns intertwine, or non-continuous waterproof finishing in the inside of cotton fabric. Although above methods solve the cotton wicking difficult problem, at the same time those reduce the fabric’s moisture absorption. Therefore, further study of cotton fabric moisture management performance of the method will be the subject of a practical significance.Basic on the domestic and abroad synthetic fabric and cotton fabric moisture management finishing the status quo, the fabric heat and moisture comfort theory and its subjective and objective evaluation methods, and the agent HMW8870characteristics and reaction mechanism of cellulose, pure cotton plain fabric was chosen as the object of study and agent HMW8870was used as moisture management finishing agent, for studying the method of cotton wet-absorb and fast-dry. Single-factor experimental method to determine the finishing agent, the best finishing process, the additives concentration range of agent HMW8870; Then four factors and three levels of orthogonal experiment was designed, aiming at agent concentration, curing temperature, curing time and the concentration of sodium chloride solution, and then range analysis of experimental results. According to national the evaluation criteria moisture management textiles GB/T21655.1-2008, there were four evaluation indexes as cotton fabric performance tests, which were capillary effect, moisture content, water vapor permeability and the rate of water evaporation, and comparative analysis of performance before finishing.Through many experiments and analysis of experimental results, this paper has been the best finishing process of additives HMW8870:finishing solution preparation (HMW8870concentration of50g/L)、twice padding (the roll over rate of75%)、 baking (190℃,1min)、soaking (NaCl concentration of20g/L); determining the order of the various factors affecting the primary and secondary. Namely:the concentration of agent HMW8870> curing time> curing temperature> the concentration of sodium chloride solution. Experimental results show that the WVP of finished cotton fabric increased by258g/m2·d, the rate of water evaporation increased by7%, capillary effect increased by6.7cm, and moisture content was only decreased by1.12%. But durability should be improving in the future.To sum up, additives HMW8870finishing process is simple, good experimental reproducibility, and better quick-drying. This paper laid the foundation for future research, and the enterprise product development with a certain significance.
