Construction And Characterization Of Polyoxometalate Decorated By Silver-ligand

This thesis focuses on the synsis of the d10transition metal Ag-Ligand modifiedof polyoxometalates （POMs）.11new compounds were synthesized by using thehydrothermal method, these compounds were structurally characterized and someproperties were also discussed.The main findings are as follows:1. Three new Keggin type polyoxometalates were synthesized by introducingAg-mbpy units:（mbpy=4,4’-Dimethyl-2,2’-bipyridyl）[Ag₂（mbpy）₃][Ag（mbpy）₂][PW₁₂O₄₀]（1）[Ag₂（mbpy）₃]₂[SiW₁₂O₄₀]（2）（H₂mbpy）₃[SiW₁₂O₄₀]1.5·3H₂O （3）A feature in compounds1and2is that there are four nuclear silver cluster, whichis rarely reported in the Ag-containing POMs. The mbpy ligand is distorted tocoodicate to Ag centers. The three-dimensional structures of1-2are built on theintermolecular ineteracations, including the hydrogen bonding and π... π forces.2. Four new Keggin and Dawson POMs were synthesized by introducing theAg-bpe units:（bpe=1,2-di（4-pyridyl）ethylene）[bpe][AgPW₁₂O₄₁]·H₂O （4）（H₂bpe）[Ag（bpe）][Ag₂（bpe）₂(AgP₂W₁8O₆₂)]·2H₂O （5）[H₂bpe]₃/2[PW₁₂O₄₀]·2H₂O （6）[H₂bpe]₂[SiW₁₂O₄₀]·2H₂O （7）Compounds4and5are two cases of Ag-bpe modified phosphotungstates. In thetwo cases of compounds, Ag showed a strong affinity for oxygen atoms to form theAg-O coordination bond.3. Tow new polyoxovanadataes were obtained by uning the Ag-bpe unit underhydrothermal conditions:[Ag（bpe）]₄V6O₁₇（8）[Ag（bpe）]₁0V₁₄O₄₀·3H₂O （9）Also the compound10was synthesized along with the compound9. Compound10belongs to one case of simple inorganic vanadate.The syntheises of compounds 8-10indicatied that the raw materials play an important roles in the structuralconstruction of crystals.4.
