Solenoid valve is the key execution part of air-jet loom. The control performance affects theresults of loom weft insertion, determines the quality and efficiency of loom production. Air-jetloom solenoid valve switch frequency is very high. In this paper, over excitation technology wastaken to complete the design of high-speed solenoid valve drive control circuit. At present air-jetloom solenoid valve is open loop control mostly, and has no feedback of Real-time on-off state.For monitoring the response performance of solenoid valve and promoting loom system faultdetection ability, valve coil current detection circuit was designed. Through the solenoid valvecurrent detecting feedback, the working performance of valve is judged timely, and alsocontributes to enhance and improve the reliability of solenoid valve control system.Paper describes the following aspects:1. Introduced the formation of air-jet loom weft insertion mechanism and the importance ofits execution part solenoid valve. Discussed the current developing situation at home and abroadof air-jet loom solenoid valve control technology and current detection technology. Analyzed thestructure of solenoid valve system, and put forward own monitoring scheme.2. Combined with air-jet loom valve working mechanism, compared the similarities anddifferences between traditional mechanical valve and modern solenoid valve, and discussedfeatures and function of air-jet loom solenoid valve. Solenoid valve detection principle andcurrent detection method were both introduced. Then general working principle of solenoidvalve monitoring system was analyzed.3. Took microcontroller as the core, solenoid valve control system was designed. Aimed atthe shortage of the microprocessor port line, used CPLD for the output line extension and themain shaft position detecting circuit was designed. According to the solenoid valve highfrequency operation characteristic, designed a high-voltage opening, low maintain high-speeddriving circuit. Because the system power was complex, the general power supply module circuitwas designed. 4. Solenoid valve detection system and main software process are designed. According tothe valve coil current feature, designed a current detection circuit including signal processing andA/D converting circuit. Analyzed CAN field bus and its controller properties, designed a CANcommunication module to complete the communication between host and slave system.5. Analyzed system interference factors, both hardware and software anti-jammingmeasures were taken. Established test platform, connected solenoid valve control module withair jet loom to on line debugging. According to the results of the debugging, the solenoid valvemonitoring system performance was analyzed and studied.
