Under hydrothermal condition, ten novel organic-inorganic hybrid materials basedon Keggin-type phosphomolybdate have been synthesized under controlled conditionsof the temperature, time, pH and so on.The chemical formulas of compounds have been determined by elemental analysesand TG analysis:(H2bpy)1.5[PMo12O40]·1.5H2O1[(phen)4Cu2(PMo12O40)][(phen)2Cu(PMo12O40)]2[PMo12O40][(phen)2Cu(H2O)]2·4H2O2(H2bpi)(Hbpi)[PMo12O40]3(Hbpi)(H2bbi)[PMo12O40]4(H2bbi)(Hbbi)[PMo12O40]5(H2bbi)(Hbbi)[PMo12O40]·2H2O6Cu3(bei)6[PMo12O40]2·6H2O7[Cu(pz)]3[PMo12O40]8[Cu(pz)1.5]4[PMoMo11O40]·pz·2H2O9[Cu3(pz)3Cl][Cu2(pz)3(H2O)][PMoMo11O40]10The new compounds are structurally characterized by single crystal X-raydiffractions and IR. Compounds1-7are organic-inorganic supramolecular compounds,compounds8-10are organic-inorganic hybrid compounds. For compound1, H2bpybridges two H2O via H-bond to form criss-cross chains along a, b, and c axis, whichgive rise to cubic-like chambers and [PMo12O40]3-polyanions are embedded in it.Compound2exhibits a novel3D supramolecular framework, in which there exists threekinds of Keggin-type phosphomolybdate with different coordination mode. Compound3-7exhibit different3-D supramolecular network via similar H-bond interactions forconformational changes of flexible ligands bei, bpi or bbi. Compound8-10exhibitunusual3D Cu–pz/Cu–pz–Cl frameworks, into which PMo12O40n-are incorporated toform three kinds of3D structures. The study of electrochemical properties of the compounds1-10indicated that all ofthem had the redox property. Additionally, compounds1-10have good electrocatalytic activity for the reduction of H2O2.Additionly, the fluorescent properties of compounds1-10have been investigated, indicating that compounds1,3-10have good fluorescent properties.
