Synthesis, Crystal Structure And Properties Research Of Transition Metal Compounds And Polyvanadates Modified By Transition Metal

Under hydrothermal condition and water solution method, six novel transtion metalcompounds and polyvanadates have been synthesized. We have determined thechemical formulas of compounds by elemental analyses and TG analysis:[Ni（ox）（bib）]_n（1）（bib=1,4-bis（imidazol） butane; ox=C2O42-）[Cd（tzba）（H₂O）]_n（2）（tzba=4-（Tetrazolyl）benzenecarboxylic acid）[Ni（biim）₃][V₂O₆]（3）（biim=biimidazole）[{Mn（H₂O）₂（gly）₂}{V₂O₆}]_n（4）（gly=glycine）[Ni（H₂O）₅（gly）]2[H₂V₁₀O₂₈]4H₂O （5）（gly=glycine）[Cd₂（H₂O）₁₀][H₂V₁₀O₂₈]4H₂O （6）The new compounds are structurally characterized by single crystal X-raydiffractions and IR. In the structure of1, Ni（II） cations are bridged by oxalic acid ligandto form infinite1D wave chain, in which oxalic acid ligand is generated by in-situmethod. These chains are further connected via bib linkers to form two-dimensional （2D）layer. The structure of2contains distorted octahedral cadmium centers coordinated byfour different tzba2-ligands and a water molecule and then formed a novel3D structure.Compound3exhibits a novel2D framework through the [V₂O₆]2-anion and[NiII（bim）₃]2+cation. We select transition metal Mn and ligand gly to synthesize a newcompound4,[V₂O₆]2-anion is in the framework. In compound5, it is constituted by[H₂V₁₀O₂₈]4-anion and [Ni（H₂O）₅（gly）]24+cation to form a2D framework by weaklyinteracting between atoms. Similarly, compound6is constituted by [H₂V₁₀O₂₈]4-anionand [Cd2（H₂O）10]4+cation to form a2D framework by weakly interacting betweenatoms.Furthermore, in this thesis the photoluminescence property and magnetic behaviorof1have been investigated. The photoluminescence property and gas adsorptionproperty of compound2have been investigated.The electrochemical properties ofcompounds3-6were investigated. The results indicate that compounds3-6had theredox property.
