In recent years,Because of the rapid progress of computer technology, Application of numerical simulation technology in material forming that has become a new discipline. It can be more broad and depth than the theory and experiment. It can do something now which experiment and theoretical can’t.The research subject of this paper has come from the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NO:50965015).This paper used Anycasting of the numerical simulation software to simulate flow and temperature field of rheological squeezing process of motor squirrel cage rotor. Finded out the reasons and position about the defects of lacking casting and shrinkage cavity by analyzing the results. Made corresponding process parameters improvement according to the emergence of the defects.Didn’t further numerical simulation until got the satisfactory castings. Then using Low Superheat Pouring with a Shear Field (LSPSF) machine which has been self-designed and built to produced A356semi-solid slurry of aluminum alloy. Then made a squeeze experimental verification on Y32-200type hydraulic press machine according to the result of numerical simulation. The experimental results show that the process parameters were obtained by numerical simulation applied to the experiment did eliminate the defects. The correctness of the theory was verified by the experiments. In addition, the squeeze forming experimental operation rules are described in detail. Finally get the casting sample for experiments, through the microstructure observation and analysis of experimental casting. It turned out that the optimum process parameters of this motor squirrel cage rotor rheological squeeze of this paper study object were consistent with numerical simulation. This optimum parameters of numerical simulation could be used as actual production parameters, It turned out that this motor squirrel cage rotor optimum process parameters of rheologicals queeze casting:the pouring temperature was595℃, mould preheating temperature was220℃, the squeeze speed0.3m/s, the time of keeping the pressure was28s.
