China’s total water resources in the world ranks the sixth, If calculating according to the per capita water resources,per capita shares only2,600cubic meters.Around the world to compare is the world’s average per capita a quarter of the water,the ranking is120,thus we can see China is a country with a shortage of water resources.At present, in China’s670cities and towns, the annual water shortage amounts to over6.5billion cubic meters, nearly450cities and towns are facing the problem of shortage of water consumption.To face China’s increasingly severe water shortages, rational using and development of water resources, the maintenance of the ecological environment of good development, coordination of the harmony of nature and people, improving the utilization rate of water resources, water resources real-time monitoring technology is an important technology of the water resources regulation and protection means.The past way of monitoring is already difficult to meet the present situation of water resources monitoring and intelligent information needs. Established without time constraints, geographical environment and climatic conditions intelligent real-time monitoring of water resources system is urgently needed.In this paper,It’s said the development in China and the world, trends and water quality of water resources research.Then this paper designs a method for water quality parameters monitoring of application of wireless sensor network system,not only explains the objectives and functions of the WSN system,also presents the design of WSN system hardware and software requirements and design principles. During the design process,ZigBee technology is widely used to establish organizational data monitoring subnet in the wireless sensor network,data monitoring subnet node uses STC12C5A60S2type single-chip microcomputer as the main processor, coordinates and controls node of each modules. Monitoring subnet of each nodes with the ZigBee wireless communication module transfers data collection and processes to the master node, the master node is realized by using GPRS wireless data communication service center to remote monitoring service center. According to the need of the real-time monitoring of water resources, this paper provides a method of water resources real-time monitoring data acquisition system based on WSN,the most important communications hub in the monitoring system is the master node,the master node connects the two heterogeneous networks data transmission,also the other nodes are designed the hardware and software.Hardware, detailed introduces the on STC enhanced MCU, zigbee communication module, GPRS wireless communication module, clock module design, etc. Software, design the software on each node and write code.Finally,I tests the WSN system,the results show WSN monitoring system can work stably in the harsh environment,acquire and transfer real-time data,enhance the reliability of the real-time monitoring of water resource,forecast early warning of timeliness,expand water quality monitoring area,and greatly reduce the cost that can meet the water quality of water resources of multi-parameter monitor actual using requirement,The system has broad application prospects.
