As a new member of the furniture industry,children’s furniture has been attached to more importance by designers and manufactures.With the increasing economic development,the rising living space and more concern on children,the investigation of children’s furniture design and production must be a hot topic.There is very difference between preschool education and other ages education phase.Preschool education major is funny.The game is the basic activities of the kindergarten;the kindergarten education content from the children starts life experience.Therefore, preschool education should take the game of the basic form of activity as the carrier, based on children’s interest and social attention as the center, take many education content penetration in the activity of the game.The kindergarten furniture,being as the most contactable, the most direct game, playing, learning platform,the size, shape and color, these have considerable influence on children’s health growth and mental development. Not only we pursue of comfort and conforms to the safety standard, but also we consider the psychological cognition of children, behavior and hobbies, etc factors which are designed in desk and chair for the children. In the purpose of serving education better,combine the pursuit of the novelty of the model at the same time, and expand more function for the desk and chair.Through the domestic and international kindergarten education environment contrast, foreign nursery school furniture design started early; mature technology, has been systematized, humanization. In order to pursue the interest on model, we will take the children’s psychological and cognitive as a factor; pursue security and light in the processing. Many children furniture in domestic is in the imitation adult furniture at the same time, will look to improve, or coated with colourful color or paste on cartoons stick, lack of children in full analysis research, and then make children furniture appearance single, so serious backward status education development needs. In order to realize emotional design of kindergarten furniture, this paper mainly contains the following several aspects work:the man-machine engineering, children’s physiological, psychological characteristics and theoretical achievements, fully considering children interest psychological characteristics, infant activities and education characteristics, using bionic design concept, man-machine engineering, the principle of safety size, the principle of color, combined with product design knowledge and emotional design.
