Lemon essential oil has a unique refreshing aroma, give a person a kind of elegant, fresh andcrisp pleasant sensation. Mainly be used for food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and chemicalindustry. In this paper, with fresh lemon peel as raw material, using solvent extraction anddistillation method for peel essential oil extraction, production of high-quality oil products byGC-MS, undertook to its component identification and marketed cold grinding method forobtaining the lemon essential oil constituents were compared. For the further study of lemonessential oil characteristics, development and its related products, and study of distillation andcold grinding and extraction of lemon oil antibacterial properties, and the distillation in theextraction of essential oil of microencapsulation, the optimized process parameters, and themicrocapsule finished product quality evaluation, the results are as follows:1. Lemon peel essential oil is extracted by solvent extraction, as determined by singlefactor experiment, the soak time of soaking temperature, solid to liquid ratio on the yield ofessential oil of influence, using the orthogonal experiment design was obtained by solventextraction of lemon peel essential oil optimal portfolio. Liquid ratio (g/ml)1:14, temperature50℃, extraction time1H, the process conditions of extraction rate of2.11%.2. Lemon peel essential oil extracted by distillation method, through the single factorexperiment to determine the soaking time, distillation time, solid to liquid ratio on the yield ofessential oil of influence, using the orthogonal experiment design by distillation from lemonpeel essential oil optimal portfolio. Liquid ratio (g/ml) is1:5,65min,3h distillation time ofsoaking time, the process conditions of extraction rate of2.55%.3. By GC-MS on lemon oil (solvent extraction, distillation products, products marketedcold mill products) for component identification analysis: lemon peel essential oil is the maincomponent of the majority to ally compounds, wherein the limonene was the highest,respectively29.63%,32.78%,35.79%, followed by alcohols and aldehydes. Limonene in thehighest content is cold grinding method.4. Through the bacteriostasis experiment, compared the lemon essential oil and marketedcold mill lemon essential oil Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, inhibition of Staphylococcusaureus by status, drawing distillation and cold grinding income lemon essential oil to bacillussubtilis, staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli all have different degrees of inhibition, andcompared the lemon essential oil distillation of bacterial inhibition effect is cold grindingincome lemon essential oil well.5. Using the spray drying to produce high quality lemon essential oil microcapsuleproducts, moisture content of2.6%, density0.375g/cm3, solubility91.12%. Product smell ispure, no peculiar smell; color is white; grain is exquisite, drying, stick wall less. The electronmicroscope scanning observation, microcapsule product appearance is a round or oval, surface density, no crack size uniform, particle diameter of2μm or so, in the particle surface slightly sags.
